Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a special item that can make certain Pokemon develop. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and is sometimes given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.

Glyphs

Each Glyph gives a character a boost in primary stats. It also has up to four Secondary Stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase which is multiplied by other bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and then clicking the "enchant" button. Glyphs can be upgraded through the use of Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more challenging the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15 it is able to be upgraded using the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The radius of the Paragon Board increases by one node every 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
Once a glyph has been elevated to the desired level you can activate it by selecting it and then clicking the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will give its stated benefit and increase the number of nodes within its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go in areas that will benefit your building the most. This is why you should prioritise Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs can also provide double bonus in the event that certain conditions are satisfied.
If you're having difficulty finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a variety of different views. Each of these views displays the Glyphs using a different font.
